First, let us discuss what exactly is Alli. It’s touted as a weight loss pill like countless other drugs out there, but does it work? Yes and no.
You already know one thing: It’s an over-the-counter weight loss pill. What makes Alli different is that it’s the only over-the-counter pill that has FDA approval. The brand name for Orlistat (which is also marketed in the prescription form as Xenical), it works by preventing the absorption of fats from the food you eat. This doesn’t mean that you can eat anything you like though, it only works if used in conjunction with a weight loss diet plan.
